Daylesford - Sunday
11 March -
The Long Weekend Destination
Yes, that's right, we're off to Daylesford
on the long weekend to join in the "Chillout you have when you don't
have Chillout". After ten years, the famous 'Chillout Festival' has
paused, but if you're out for a great time this Labour Day Weekend then
Daylesford is a beautiful destination. About an hour from Melbourne, fantastic
restaurants along the main street, and lots to do, including a Sunday Market
(look for the OUT Video stall) and of course the 'Sunday Night at the Palais'.
We're bringing the Sound of Music Drag Show
to the Palais at Hepburn Springs (about 2k from the centre of Daylesford,
on the main road). There is a dinner and show option, with excellent food,
or just visit for a great night out, the show, and music from our Award
Winning GuyDJ. The Palais is an old theatre and dripping with atmosphere.
We hope to see you there.
Bookings: http://livemusic.moshtix.com.au/record.asp?leventid=11467

Melbourne International
Comedy Festival
5 -15 April
It's a first for us and we think its a first
for Melbourne. A drag show season for the world famous Melbourne Comedy
Festival. The Sound of Music Drag Show is showing for ten shows at the
Bosco Theatre in Federation Square from Thursday 5 - Sunday 15 April. (sorry
no Monday night)
The Bosco Theatre is one of two antique theatre
tents especially imported for the Festival. These are similar in style
to the famous 'Spiegletent', and a magical atmosphere for festival goers.
The Bosco was built in 1909 and it travels all around the world for Festivals
and events (its coming here from the Adelaide Festival. It has played host
to musicians, cabaret artists, and comedians and now a Melbourne Drag Show
will add its name to its list of performers over the last 97 years.
This is a unique event and a great honour
for us. We hope that we'll see old friends (and new) sharing it with us.
We've also been approached to participate in the Edinburgh Comedy Festival
in Scotland in August and we'll have more news of that coming up soon.

The Sixties Show on
Fridays at Templebar
For a Friday Night of entertainment, good
food and fun, this can't be beat. No cover charge, fabulous a la carte
menu, and beer on tap, and almost the entire Gold Sixties playlist. If
you think you've seen 'Dreamgirls' then get ready for the larger than life
version on stage with Jessica James, Kris Del Vase, Jillette Jones and
Jackie Stevens.
Templebar has built its reputation on excellent
food, excellent service and, of course, 'the entertainment'. A Rainbow
Award for Best New Venue confirmed their reputation and 'The Sixties Show'
is one not to be missed. Of course Spag 'n' Drag on Wednesday is there
if you need a midweek break from the ho-hum, so check it out. (they also
have a first for Melbourne coming up in April - stay tuned).

Grease The Drag Show
at PINK on Saturdays
Well we thought Sound of Music was popular
but Grease just takes the cake, crumbs and all!. We've been filled to standing
room for weeks and the table bookings phone has been ringing non-stop.
If you want to see the biggest show we've ever done then Saturday at PINK
is the date to make. You'll never be able to look at Sandy's Lycra suit
every again, or John Travolta's cool for that matter.
From Summer Nights, to Beauty School,'The
Car' and the Dance Off at the Gym, its all there and more. Standing room
gives you a good view of the stage if tables are booked, or plan a party
night with friends and book a table online.
